I love to read. I love to write. I love the people who write and the people who read. But you know what I hate? I hate not having a good way to share my love. There are websites that are supposed to be “the” place to build a community of readers and writers, and I’ve spent a LOT of time on them. But they weren’t what I wanted, and some of the best seem to be more interested in implementing changes that only benefit their bottom line. As a writer, I want to connect to my readers without limitations; I want to network with other writers. As a reader, I want to connect with my favorite authors, and I want to geek out with other readers. And, because I pay attention, I know there are a lot of people who feel the same. I want a place where I can form relationships with my fellow bibliophiles in an online community. What I envisioned—the perfect social site for writers and readers—didn’t seem to exist, so I created it. They say you can’t have it all. I disagree. I believe you can, and so can I. This site was created to be about me, but MEE is all about you, too. MEE (My Endless Endings) is for lovers of the written word. A community run the way WE want it, with a focus on books and a focus on people. A place where, as a writer or reader or both, we can share our endless endings. Writers will write. Readers will read. Our endings will never end . . . there will always be another, “The End”.
